Headed by the Victorian Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, the Hon. James Merlino, around 1,500 people attended the Team Vic Pacific School Games (PSG) Presentation Day at the State Netball Hockey Centre on Sunday, 4 October.

Maddie Andreopolous, principal vocalist from the State Schools Spectacular, provided a wonderful rendition of the National Anthem then followed it up with a powerful performance of the hit song Brave.

Huntingdale Primary School's Taiko Performance Group, coordinated by Tadashi Hanazono, then gave an outstanding drum performance.

Team members and the audience then listened to inspiring messages of support and some 'pearls of wisdom' from basketball's Lindsay Gaze, football's Kevin Muscat, diver Bree Bryant, softballer Natalie Titcume, swimmer Joshua Beaver and table tennis' Dennis Makaling.

Minister Merlino announced that para athlete swimmer Tim Disken will be the official flag bearer for the Victorian team when the #navyarmy parades at the opening ceremony in Adelaide on Sunday, 22 November.

Pacific School Games CEO Les Rauert closed the ceremony by welcoming the entire Victorian team to the ninth Pacific School Games from 21 to 29 November, 2015.
