Vale Barbara Donnet
Life Member of Diving Victoria and Diving Australia, Barbara (McAulay) Donnet passed away Thursday 5 November at the age of 91. Barbara was an accomplished diver and coach winning a Gold and Silver medal at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver, Canada, and competed on both 3 Metre Springboard and 10 Metre Platform in the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne. Mother and coach of four-time Olympic diver Jenny Donnet, Barbara’s influence in the diving world was immeasurable. Our sincerest condolences to the Donnet family and friends.
