Diving Victoria today unveiled its all-new logo at the Open Nationals/Olympic Trials event at Aquanation.
The new logo, which represents a diver in motion, follows a similar design to that of Diving Australia, and has also been replicated by Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
The logo keeps with the Diving Victoria style-guide in maintaining the traditional Victorian navy and silver colour-scheme.
Speaking at the launch of the logo, Diving Victoria CEO Matthew Duck said the new logo is part of a broader increased focus on branding.
"As an organisation we see real value in working closely and collaboratively with Diving Australia, as well as all the other state diving bodies, and we feel this logo adoption goes some way in further representing that."
"We've seen many sports successfully adopt a similar philosophy of shared branding, and we feel the modern, contemporary design of the logo matches the values of Diving Victoria."
The new logo signals further exciting changes for Diving Victoria in the digital space, and Duck said the organisation has some exciting announcements up ahead.
"We're certainly working hard on a few new and exciting initiatives to grow the sport and increase our presence in the Victorian sporting landscape, and we look forward to some further exciting upcoming news."
