Diving Victoria teamed up with its counterparts at Swimming Victoria & Water Polo Victoria this week to present at the annual Aquatics and Recreation Victoria Industry Conference. 

The Conference, themed 'Turning Challenges into Opportunities', brought together a host of aquatic professionals, local government agencies, facility operators and sports to discuss how each could better work together. 

Held on Thursday 25 August at Melbourne Park, the conference showcased a number of high profile speakers and industry specialists.

Diving Victoria CEO Matthew Duck said it was a good opportunity to present to an influential group and debunk some myths about the sport. 

"Ultimately we want to see diving expand throughout the state, and outside of our 'traditional centres', so to begin a dialogue today with a number of facility operators and councils about how we might work together going forward is very encouraging."
