Congratulations to all the Victorians who won awards at the annual DA awards held in Brisbane on May 26th following the 2018 Open National Championships.

Nine Victorians were honoured in the awards, which recognise outstanding contributions by divers, coaches and officials in our sport across all levels, including Age, Junior and Open diving, club and HP coaches and Volunteers.

 In an amazing result Victorian divers took out seven of the ten awards for Age divers. What a fantastic result for Victorian Clubs!!

Victorian winners were:

Charli Petrov (Ringwood Diving Club)                  11 yrs and Under Female Athlete of the Year

      Jonah Mercieca (Melb. Elite Diving Academy)     11 yrs and Under Male Athlete of the Year

Kiara Field (Bendigo Divers)                                     12/13 yrs Female Athlete of the Year

Ben Wilson (Ringwood Diving Club)                     12/13 yrs Male Athlete of the Year

Ryan King (St. Kevin’s Aquatic Club)                   14/15 yrs Male Athlete of the Year

Abby Rowley (Bendigo Divers)                                  16-18 yrs Female Athlete of the Year

Rohan Blake (PLC Aquatic)                                         19 yrs and over Male Athlete of the Year

Elizabeth Howard (St. Kevin’s Aquatic Club)        2018 Age Senior Coach of the Year

Paul Beech (Diving Victoria)                                      Excellence in Volunteering Award
