Defibrillators for Victorian Sporting Clubs and Facilities – Applications open
The Victorian Government’s Defibrillators for Sporting Clubs and Facilities Program 2015-19 is now open for applications. The program provides Victorian sporting clubs with the opportunity to acquire an automatic external defibrillator (also known as an ‘AED’) for their club or sports facility.
The program provides clubs with a high quality defibrillator, some basic training and a minimum of three years of essential maintenance.
Find out more and submit your application directly to the Departing of Health and Human Services by 28 October 2015 - www.sport.vic.gov.au/grants.
*If your club already has a defibrillator we encourage you to review the medical emergency planning procedures at the venue, as required, to further improve the chances of early defibrillation being achieved and a life saved.
