2019 National Skills Final

Diving Australia kicked off its inaugural National Skills Final in Brisbane 1-2 July. This event includes both water and dryland skills and is judged in the 11/Under and 12/13 categories.
Victoria qualified through 7 competitors: 2 in 11/Under (Tristan Hunter and Coco Taylor) and 5 in the 12/13 (Millie English, Grace Hornsby, Alexandra Kostas, Tom Newell and Abigail Smoli) from their finish at the Victorian Elite Junior Championships.
As a new event, a lot was to be learned but our Victorians shone bright and represented Victoria in high Fashion. The highlight of the event for Victoria was Coco Taylor’s Silver medal in the 11/Under Water Skills.
Well done to all of the divers and coaches …Victoria looks forward to hosting this event in 2020.
