Diving Victoria Elite Junior Qualifier

Competition Information

Please read all Competition Information below prior to completing your registration.

This Diving Victoria Elite Junior Qualifying competition will serve as the final qualification opportunity for athletes seeking to compete at the 2024 Australian Elite Junior Championships in Brisbane (26 - 29 September). 

Date & Venue:

• Saturday, 31st August 2024
• Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), Albert Park

Event Eligibility:

To register to compete in this event, you must be a Competitive Diver or Coach member of Diving Victoria. Given this, if you need to upgrade your Diving Victoria membership, please sign in to your Diving Victoria member portal to process this Upgrade.

Additional Requirements:

• Competitive Age is determined as at 31^st December, 2024
• For Athletes aspiring to qualify for the 2024 Australian Elite Junior Championships: please CLICK HERE to review the relevant Dive List, Degree of Difficulty & Qualification Score requirements that apply to your Event.
• When registering, if you wish to compete in 2 events, select any one event as your 'First Event' and then the relevant Board height for your 'Second Event'. It does not matter which order you select your two events in. Your Junior age bracket from the first event will automatically apply to your second event selection (eg. If you select "First Event: C Girls 3m" and "Second Event: 1m", you will automatically be entered into the C Girls 1m). 

Dive Sheet Submission:

• Divesheets for this event must be submitted via Dive Recorder by 11:59pm on Wednesday, 28th August.
• Please enter Divesheets in the Online Sheets section after selecting "VIC Elite Junior Qualifier" from the list of competitions.
• Changes to existing divesheets may be made via DiveRecorder until 11am Friday, 30^th August.

Competition Entry Fees:

• Competition Registration fee: $30.00
• Event Fee: $20 per board (max. 2)

All prices are inclusive of GST.

A late fee of $11 will apply to all registrations received after the registration deadline. No registrations will be accepted after the late registration deadline. 

Prospective Competition Schedule:

• Dryland available from 10:30am
• Warm up (water) will commence from 11:00am to 12:00pm
• Competition to commence from 12:00pm
• Finish time to be confirmed tba

A draft Competition Schedule will be distributed following the registration deadline.
