2016 All Schools Championship & 2016 School Sport Victoria TEAM VIC Team Trials​

This is two separate events, but if you want to dive in both there is only one Registration Fee.

Date:

• Saturday 14 May 2016

Venue:

• MSAC, Albert Park

Competition Fee:

• $25 Registration (only payable once)
  • + $15 to dive in All Schools (Springboard)
  • + $15/event to dive in SSV Team Trials (Springboard and/or platform)

Entry Deadline:

• Sunday 1 May 2016 (midnight)
• Entries are accepted on-line only via the Diving Victoria Website
• Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration before the entry deadline, Must call DV office to process (9686 7534 or 0411 863 483)

Late Entries:

• $50 Registration, $15/event
• Divers dive by invitation only but are still eligible to achieve a qualifying place

Late Entry Deadline:

• Sunday 8 May 2016 (midnight)

Add an Event Late:

• Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration after the entry deadline but before the Dive Sheet Deadline $30 /event  
• Must call DV office to process (9686 7534 or 0411 863 483).  
• Divers will dive by invitation in that event but may still achieve a qualifying place

Eligibility for All Schools:

• Divers must by Year 3 or above
• Divers must meet the competition criteria

Eligibility for SSV Team Trials:

• Divers must turn 10 by 31/12/16
• Divers must attend an SSV member school
• Divers must meet the competition criteria

Dive Sheets:

• Due via Dive Recorder (www.diverecorder.co.uk) before 9 am Thursday 12 May
• Late sheets or changes after the deadline - if accepted - will result in a diver competing by invitation but are still eligible to achieve a qualifying place

Pool Entry Fees:

• Competitors, Coaches & Officials: Free; Spectators: $2.50, Payable at MSAC reception. 
• Entrance via the Stage 2 (Aquatic) entrance only.

2016 ALL SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP (9:00 am start)

The 2016 All Schools Diving Championship is open to all primary or secondary students Years 3 thru 12 that satisfy the given dive requirements based upon year in school.  Divers will represent their school; therefore the school must be notified of your participation and agree that you will be covered by their liability and indemnity insurance.  Divers may select dives from the 1 metre and/ or 3 metre.  No dive may be repeated.  

2016 SSV TEAM TRIALS (Late morning start)

The 2016 SSV TEAM TRIALS serves as a qualifying meet to the School Sport Australia National Diving Championships in Lightning Ridge, NSW 27 Aug – 3 Sept 2016.  Divers selected to the team will represent Victoria as members of Team Vic.  This event is open to all students that will be ages 10 to 19 by 31 December 2016, that attend a school which is a current member of School Sport Victoria and that satisfy the given dive requirements based upon their age as of 31 December 2016.  Divers will represent their school; therefore the school must be notified of your participation and agree that you will be covered by their liability and indemnity insurance.  Divers may enter Springboard (any combination of 1 metre and/or 3 metre dives) and/or platform. No dive may be repeated.
