The 2022/23 Diving Victoria Club Challenge is a series of competitions suited to all levels of divers from beginners through to open; it provides competition experience and the opportunity for divers to monitor their progress throughout the season.  Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria to compete. Divers may compete on Springboard (either 1m or 3m).  In weeks 4-6 we will offer: Synchro Events, Team Events, Skills Events.

Structure for this event

• Divers may choose to compete in the Club Challenge Series or the qualifying event NOT BOTH.

• Club Challenge Series divers may enter the level they are ready for (do NOT need to follow the level they were in a previous ‘Pennant’ season)

• Divers entering the Qualifier may dive in all 3 qualifying events for their respective age group.

Reminders

• Late entries will only incur an additional fee, they will not have to dive "by invitation"

• Dive sheets must still be submitted before 9am Thursday.  Changes via DiveRecorder will now be accepted until 9am Friday without penalty.  Divers may not change to a new board, they may only make changes to an existing sheet.  Any changes made AFTER 9am Friday MUST be requested to the competition manager (molly@divingvictoria.com.au) and approved by the Chief Referee.  If approved, the diver will dive by invitation in that event.

Club Challenge Series 1 Summary

Registration & Event Fee:  Registration $24 + $14 /event

Entry Deadline:  Sunday 14th August

Dive Requirements:  2021/22 Pennant Criteria, National Qualifying Criteria

Eligibility:

• Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria to compete

• Participation Divers may compete in any level of the Club Challenge Series

• State Level Divers  & Coaches may compete in any Club Challenge Series Level or the qualifier events

• Only State Level Divers may compete in the Qualifier Events

• Divers may upgrade their membership by logging into their account and selecting UPGRADE, members of Ringwood or MEDA must complete their upgrade from the club's website

• Qualifiers must compete how old they will be on 31 December 2022

Dive Sheets:  Due via Dive Recorder before 9am Thursday 18 August

MSAC Entry Fee:  Competitors, Officials & Spectators: Free. 

SUNDAY 21 August

• Sign in from 7:45AM

• Warm-up 8:00AM-9:00AM, 8:45AM for divers in first event only

• Event Begins 9:00AM

• Catering: MelAm

COVID Compliance

• DO NOT ATTEND THIS EVENT IF YOU HAVE ANY COLD & FLU SYMPTOMS

• Please maintain hand hygiene and maintain social distancing. 

• Mask wearing will be dependent on government restrictions but should always be worn if distance cannot be maintained. 

• Divers should not share food, drink or shammies.

2. Sunday 20 November 2022 - entries close Sunday 13 November (Aquanation) pm start

3. Sunday 12 February 2023 - entries close Sunday 5 February (MSAC) 

4. Sunday 19 March 2023 - entries close Sunday 12 March (Aquanation) pm start

5. Saturday 22 April 2023 - entries close Sunday 16 April (MSAC)

6. Saturday 17 June 2023 - entries close Sunday 11 June (Aquanation) pm start

These dates may be changed as necessary

Dive Sheets are due via DiveRecorder by 9am Thursday BEFORE EACH EVENT
