The 2021/22 Diving Victoria Pennant is a series of competitions suited to all levels of divers from beginners through to open; it provides competition experience and the opportunity for divers to monitor their progress through the season.  Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria to compete. Divers may compete on Springboard (either 1m or 3m).  Some weeks will also offer exhibition events such as: Synchro, Team Events, Skills Events.

Structure for this event

• Divers may choose to compete Pennant Levels 1-5 OR enter the Qualifier - but not both
• Pennant divers may enter the level they are ready for (do NOT need to follow the level they were in a previous season)
• Divers entering the Qualifier may only dive in one stream: Age, Elite Junior or Open.
• DIVERS MAY ONLY ENTER THE AGE QUALIFIER EVENTS IF THEY HAVE NOT YET QUALIFIED FOR NATIONALS

Reminders

• Late entries will only incur an additional fee, they will not have to dive "by invitation"
• Dive sheets must still be submitted before 9am Thursday.  Changes via DiveRecorder will now be accepted until 9am Friday without penalty.  Divers may not change to a new board, they may only make changes to an existing sheet.  Any changes made AFTER 9am Friday must be requested to the competition manager (molly@divingvictoria.com.au) and approved by the Cheif Referee.  If approved, the diver will dive by invitation in that event.

Eligibility:

• Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria to compete
• Participation Divers may compete in Pennant Levels 1-5 
• State Level Divers  & Coaches may compete Pennant levels 1-5 or the qualifier
• Only State Level Divers may compete in the Qualifier
• Divers may upgrade their membership by logging into their account and selecting UPGRADE, members of Ringwood or MEDA must complete their upgrade from the club's website
• Qualifiers must compete how old they will be on 31 December 2022

Dive Sheets:  Due via Dive Recorder before 9am Thursday 17 March

Aquanation Entry Fee:  Competitors, Officials & Spectators: Free.  All competitors and Spectators must complete the QR code on entry to the facility

SUNDAY 20 March

• Sign in from 7:00am
• Warm-up 7:00-7:45, 7:45 for divers in the first event only
• Event Begins 8:00PM
• Catering: Whitehorse

COVID Compliance

• All competitors, spectators and officials must QR code into Aquanation upon entry.
• Please maintain hand hygiene and maintain social distancing. 
• Mask wearing will be dependant of government restrictions but should always be worn if distance cannot be maintained. 
• Divers should not share food, drink or shammies.

Pennant 4.  Sunday 13 February 2022- entries close Sunday 6 February (MSAC) - pm start

Pennant 5.  Sunday 20 March 2022 - entries close Sunday 13 March (Aquanation)

Pennant 6.  Saturday 18 June 2022 -   entries close Sunday 13 June (Aquanation) - pm start

Dive Sheets are due via DiveRecorder by 9am Thursday BEFORE EACH EVENT
