2014 OPEN & AGE QUALIFIER

Dates: Friday 22 August – Saturday 23 August 2014

Venue: MSAC, Albert Park

Competition Fee: $35 Registration, $17 /event

Entry Deadline:  EXTENDED to Friday 15 August (5:00PM) Entries are on-line only

Add an Event Late: Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration after the entry deadline but before the dive sheet deadline $32 /event.  Must call DV office to process (9686 7534 or 0411 863 483)

Late Entries: $68 Late Registration, $17 /event, Divers will dive by invitation but may still achieve a qualifying score

Eligibility:

• Age is as of 31 December 2015
• Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria as a Diver – Level 4 , Country Diver or Coach to compete.  If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact the Diving Victoria Office. Call the DV office to upgrade.

Dive Requirements:

• As of this publishing, the 2014 national qualifying scores are still valid.  If Diving Australia releases the new 2015 qualifying criteria before the start of the competition – the new qualifying criteria will apply.
• When submitting sheets for Open events: Minimum DDs apply.  Divers aged 15 and under (as of 31/12/14) must meet the “B/C Group” Minimum DD.

Dive Sheets: Due via Dive Recorder www.diverecorder.co.uk before 9am Thursday 21 August.  Late sheets or late changes - if accepted - will result in a diver competing by invitation (not eligible for placing or any points)

Spectator Entry Fee: $2.50 payable at MSAC reception

The 2014 Victorian Open & Age qualifier serves as a qualifying meet to either the Australian Open Championships (11-14 December 2014, Adelaide) or the Australian Age Championships (TBC April 2015, Brisbane).  This is one of three local competitions in which divers have to make their qualifying score for their respective nationals.
